Claude Code Can Now Build and Test iOS Apps in Apple's Simulator

MacRumors reports that Anthropic has updated Claude Code for desktop to work with Apple's iOS Simulator, now available in public beta. The integration allows Claude Code to open in-progress apps directly in the simulator for building and testing purposes.

HTSApp's take

If this closes the loop between code generation and actually running the app in Simulator, it shortens the tightest feedback cycle in iOS work: catching build failures and runtime behavior without a human round-trip. For a small studio the leverage is real on prototypes and test scaffolding, but worth checking whether it handles device-specific quirks, entitlements, and anything needing real hardware. Treat it as a faster inner loop, not a replacement for on-device QA or review-time scrutiny.
