Here’s what Samsung’s smart glasses actually look like

According to The Verge, Samsung has unveiled two new designs for its upcoming smart glasses along with initial specifications. The smart glasses are said to offer 9 hours of battery life.

Smart glasses as a form factor mostly matter to app builders once there's a real SDK and install base, so the thing to watch is whether Samsung opens a developer path or keeps it locked to first-party experiences. If it runs on Android XR, that likely lowers the barrier to porting existing apps, but glanceable, voice-first interaction patterns are a different design problem than phone screens. For a privacy-first studio, always-on cameras and mics on someone's face are the obvious concern worth tracking closely.
